<h3>2010 ODYSSEY - - <span class="highlight-phrase">Keyless Entry Transmitter</span> Programming - Manual Method</h3> NOTE: The <span class="highlight-phrase">keyless transmitter</span> attaches to the ignition key and is separate from the immobilizer transponder. TRANSPONDER programming requires a programming tool. It is not necessary to use the HDS when replacing or deleting an existing transmitter. <ul class="unordered"> <li>Adding a key (transponder) can only be done with the T-Code, HDS, Autel or other programming tool. If the key being added has a new <span class="highlight-phrase">remote transmitter</span>.</li> <li>If one or all keys (transponders) are lost, the remote transmitters must be deleted manually. This will assure that all of the old keyless transmitters have been cleared from the keyless receiver unit memory.</li> <li>When replacing the power window master switch (has built-in keyless receiver unit), you must have all of the remote transmitters that need to be programmed to the car.</li> <li>The keyless receiver unit can only store 5 keyless transmitters.</li> <li>During programming, pushing the same remote button 5 times will delete all other remotes.</li> </ul> <h3><strong> Be sure to review all programming steps before proceeding</strong></h3> <h3>Adding a Single <span class="highlight-phrase">remote transmitter</span></h3> Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and push the transmitter's lock or unlock button within 4 seconds, then turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), turn it back to ON (II) and press the transmitter button within 4 seconds and back to LOCK (0). turn it back to ON (II) and press the transmitter button within 4 seconds and back to LOCK (0). Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and push the transmitter's lock or unlock button within 4 seconds, (At this point the door locks should cycle), turn back to LOCK (0). Repeat the above instructions 2 more times. (the locks should cycle each time the transmitter button is pushed on the fourth cycle of the ignition lock to the ON (II) position.) At this point, press a button on remote you want to program (the locks will cycles a second time) Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and remove the key. Wait 10 seconds and verify that all remotes function properly. &nbsp; <em><strong>Programming action looks like this:</strong></em> ON, PRESS, OFF, ON, PRESS, OFF, ON, PRESS, OFF, ON PRESS, (LOCKS CYCLE), OFF, ON, PRESS, OFF, ON, PRESS, OFF, ON, PRESS, OFF, ON PRESS, (LOCKS CYCLE), OFF, ON, PRESS, OFF, ON, PRESS, OFF, ON, PRESS, OFF, ON PRESS, (LOCKS CYCLE), PRESS each remote to program, (locks will cycle for each new remote), OFF, WAIT (10 seconds) &nbsp; <h3>Adding multiple (More than ONE) remote transmitters</h3> Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and push the transmitter's lock or unlock button within 4 seconds, then turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), turn it back to ON (II) and press the transmitter button within 4 seconds and back to LOCK (0). turn it back to ON (II) and press the transmitter button within 4 seconds and back to LOCK (0). Turn the ignition switch to ON (II) and push the transmitter's lock or unlock button within 4 seconds, (At this point the door locks should cycle), turn back to LOCK (0). Repeat the above instructions 2 more times. (the locks should cycle each time the transmitter button is pushed on the fourth cycle of the ignition lock to the ON (II) position.) At this point, press a button on every remote you want to program (even the one you used to enter programming) Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and remove the key. Wait 10 seconds and verify that all remotes function properly. &nbsp; <h3>Deleting remotes</h3> Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), push the transmitter's lock or unlock button within 4 seconds and turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), turn it back to ON (II) within 4 seconds and back to LOCK (0). Repeat this 2 more times and the locks should cycle when the transmitter button is pushed. Push the same button 5 more times. This will leave only the current remote programmed in the keyless receiver unit.
