Programming Instructions
Follow these steps to program this key to the vehicle.
Important Note about the VERSA NOTE.
If using T-Code or MVP to program, you will need to select an older version of the versa (like 2009)
<h3><u>Nissan Remote Programming</u></h3>
Nissan stand-alone remotes and remote head keys (Not prox keys) generally all program the same.
<strong>Be sure to review all programming steps before proceeding</strong>
Step 1. Sit in car with all doors closed.
Step 2. Insert and remove key from ignition lock until hazard lights flash once. (DO NOT TURN the KEY !)
<em>Should take around 8 insertions, but varies per model.</em>
Step 3. Insert key and turn ignition lock to ACC or ON position (DO NOT START CAR).
<em>Hazard light should flash once to indicate car is in program mode.</em>
Step 4. Press the LOCK button on remote to add it to vehicle.
<em>Hazard lights should flash once to indicate remote was programmed.</em>
To close programming, turn off key in ignition and open drivers door.
To program additional remotes . . . . .
Step 5. Using electric lock switch on drivers ddor, press LOCK and then UNLOCK.
<em>Hazard lights should flash once to indicate vehicle is ready for next remote.</em>
Step 6. Press LOCK button on next remote to program.
<em>Hazard lights should flash once to indicate remote was programmed.</em>
If on additional remotes are to be programmed, follow close programming procedure between steps 4 and 5.
If more remotes are to be added follow instructions 5 and 6.
Please note that vehicle stores 4 remotes, and added them to the front of the list so that the oldest remote (number 4 in the list) gets deleted as a new remote is added.
If there are more remotes that the ones you have added, check all remotes when done to insure that were not removed during programming.
OR, add all existing remotes at the same time to insure they will work.
